A high school student writes a college essay.

A message from Ms. Ormejuste, guidance counselor for grades 11-12, about an amazing opportunity for 11th grade students:

As you know, The College Application season is almost here.  One of the most crucial parts of the application is college essay. This essay gives students the opportunity to showcase their personality and abilities beyond their grades and test scores.

A well-written essay can make a significant difference and increase the chances of being selected by the admission committee, especially when colleges have to choose between applicants with similar qualifications. We understand that writing a college essay can be intimidating, but we are here to help.

To assist you in writing the best version of your college essay, we have partnered with St. John's LPP Program.  Classes will be a combination of in-person and virtual.  The first few sessions will be held in person on Wednesdays at 1:30, after which they will be conducted on Zoom.  Please sign up by filling out this Google form if you are interested and pick up St. John's Liberty Partnership Consent Form from Ms. Ormejuste.
